Chicago-Based Searcher: Let's Connect

Hi all – after observing from the sidelines for a few months, I've decided to dive headfirst into my self-funded search. With a background in both banking and private equity (traditional investing to hands-on operational roles), I'm eager to leverage my experience to acquire and grow a business within the B2B or B2C services space. Having benefited from the insights shared in this community, I'm keen to introduce myself and expand my network among the like-minded professionals here.

I'm based in the Chicagoland area and am particularly interested in connecting with fellow searchers, brokers, investors, lenders, legal counsels, advisers, and diligence providers in and around the region. While my search has a national scope, I'm inclined towards businesses situated in major metro areas, with a soft spot for opportunities that could benefit from my banking and PE experience.
