Position Summary: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for the day-to-day operational and financial performance of two established dermatology practices in Western Massachusetts. This role leads the Practice Managers and other operational leaders while partnering closely with physicians and ownership to drive growth, improve performance, strengthen accountability, and ensure an exceptional patient experience. Primary Responsibilities: - Lead, manage, and develop the Practice Managers and operational leadership teams. - Drive operational execution, financial performance, profitability, and accountability across both practices. - Establish and monitor goals, KPIs, and operational standards across both organizations. - Identify and execute opportunities to grow providers, services, patient access, and revenue. - Improve staffing, workflows, efficiency, patient experience, and overall practice performance. - Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing leaders and staff. - Partner with physician leadership and ownership to execute strategic initiatives, expansion opportunities, and acquisitions. - Ensure both practices operate in compliance with applicable regulatory, quality, and operational standards. - Identify operational and financial risks and implement corrective action when necessary. - Report performance, key issues, risks, and recommendations to ownership. Qualifications: - Proven experience leading multi-site healthcare operations. - Strong financial and operational management skills. - Demonstrated success in building and developing high-performing teams. - Experience driving growth, operational improvement, and organizational change. - Strong ability to establish accountability and translate strategy into execution. - Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
