With all the talk around tariffs in the upcoming election has anyone seen a list of the goods that will be the most affected?

I am seeing a couple Importers/Fulfilled By Amazon and I am wondering if they know something that we don't.

Easiest assumption is if it's sold on Amazon and imported from China, it's likely now subject to the existing Section 301 tariff of 15-20% + any prior tariff level. You can review Section 301 tariffs here: https://ustr.gov/issue-areas/enforcement/section-301-investigations/tariff-actions. Within the links is a lookup for the HTS code. If you are not familiar with what HTS code applies to the goods, try using the CROSS Customs Rulings portal where you can keyword search rulings: https://rulings.cbp.gov/home. A good resource for Section 301 news: https://www.thompsonhinesmartrade.com/category/section-301-investigations/

While tariffs can have an impact, the reality is most FBA businesses do not have lasting value, will lose to Amazon's increasing take every year, and have no defensible product differentiation.

With the elections heating up, tariffs are definitely back in focus. From what I’ve been following, the most affected goods are likely to be in consumer electronics, machinery, apparel, and some agricultural products. These are big categories for both importers and Amazon FBA sellers, so it makes sense they’re watching things closely (or even adjusting their sourcing strategies in advance). Might be worth checking out the latest USTR announcements or even tracking updates from trade-focused sites. Some sellers may have inside logistics info or are just better prepared from previous tariff rounds. Anyone else seeing signs from their suppliers or manufacturers?
