CIM analysis / valuation template

Anyone willing to share their approach to CIM analysis? Have you development a scorecard template or do you just analyse deals on a deal-by-deal basis? We're trying to figure out a method of evaluating CIM's on a first passthrough quickly and efficiently. Thanks in advance!

I have not seen CIM Analysis template in my decades as M&A intermediary. Tom Korzenecki outline of CIM content is a good one. However, two people following the outline could write totally different CIMs on same company. Even the adjusted EBITDA could be different. In my case, i point out good aspects of the business as well as point out hairs as appropriate. I do not include market size b/c in most of my LMM deals markets are in mega billions. I never include forecast unless my client has been doing so for years, and even then exclude it unless it is an abnormal high growth,
Valuation template is different than CIM. There are many in the market place. Mine is www.BVXpress.com. It is "Transaction" valuation and structuring software. for interactive what-if analysis. It has no market data, nor input for industry type..
