by an intermediary from Washington State University in Dorado, 00646, Puerto Rico
We are a buy-side M&A firm and we're looking for someone to work directly with prospective buyers. Your job is to help them understand the acquisition process, evaluate if our program is the right fit, and guide qualified buyers through getting started.
The Role
You'll be the first point of contact for buyers who want to learn more about working with us.
Your job: have consultative conversations with potential buyers, understand their situation, help them evaluate if business acquisition makes sense for them, and determine if our program is a good fit.
This isn't transactional. You're advising people on what might be the biggest financial decision of their lives. You need to understand business acquisitions, financing options, and what actually makes someone a good candidate for this path.
You'll need to learn the industry. But if you're intellectually curious and enjoy helping people make smart decisions, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
-Take calls with potential clients
-Understand their background, capital position, timeline, and goals
-Explain how business acquisitions work and what our program provides
-Help them evaluate if this path makes sense for their situation
-Identify red flags or misalignments early (saving everyone time)
-Stay connected with qualified buyers through their decision process
Who We're Looking For
Strong communicator - confident and comfortable speaking with anyone
Consultative approach - you listen first, advise second. Not pushy.
Quick learner - willing to learn a complex industry with real nuance
Professional presence - credible on the phone
Follow-through - you stay connected with people through their decision process
Self-motivated - comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
