About Everia Holdings
Everia Holdings is a permanent-capital investment firm focused on acquiring, operating, and growing high-quality small and medium-sized service businesses. We are long-term buyers — not private equity — and we care deeply about people, culture, and preserving what makes great local businesses special. Our founding team has extensive experience building and operating companies at scale and is now applying that operational mindset to the lower-middle-market. We are currently building a proprietary sourcing engine to identify and engage exceptional owner-operated businesses across select industries.
The Role
- Conduct company research utilizing various sources [GPT, Google Maps, databases, etc] to identify potential investment targets
- Use multiple data sources [Linkedin, Google, True People Search, etc] to enrich data [owner name, owner age, contact info, etc]
- Assist with direct outreach to business owners and industry experts
- Propose interesting investment angles as you learn more about specific sectors of research
What we’re looking for
- Strong communication skills -- written & oral
- Gritty and curious -- someone who will stop at nothing to find necessary information on a company or owner
- Self-starter who can work independently with light direction
- Ability to move freely in google spreadsheets
- Prior experience in list building, investment research, deal sourcing, or sales is a major plus
Experience you'll gain
- Exposure to start up private equity, accomplished executives, and business owners
- Understanding of deal sourcing and sales operations as well as some potential investment evaluation
- Practical experience learning how the sausage is made! You'll get an inside look on how strategy is formed for business targeting, outreach, evaluation, negotiation, and closing
Details
- Part-time, flexible hours (approx. 10–20 per week)
- Likely remote unless in NYC area
- Initial 3-month engagement, with the potential to extend
- Ideal for students or recent graduates with an interest in sales, deal sourcing, finance, or M&A.
