If you're looking for a leadership coach to support you in your search journey, my friend founded Unleash, a career coaching marketplace. I've been with one of their coaches for over a month now. I'd recommend looking into it whether you are thinking of launching a search, raising a fund, searching, or actively operating a company. Most of their coaches are Stanford GSB grads and understand the search fund space. If you're interested, fill out their 4 min quiz using the link below, and they'll match you with coaches. https://www.unleashhub.com/quiz

Alternative idea: I've been working with an accountability coach for years. I meet with her biweekly (used to be weekly) for 30 mins, and she both checks in with me on my top goals and is a sounding board for more strategic questions that have been floating around my head. In a world in which I don't have a "boss" anymore, it's been a helpful tool/system.

I hired her on Upwork for $50/hr, so very reasonable. Some of the best money I've spent!

She doesn't have specific experience in search, but it's irrelevant; the goal is to get an outside perspective from just a smart person/coach. Happy to make an intro if interested! Just DM me.

For those who have used coaches, what's a typical price range for someone decent?
