Companies with 501c3 foundations

Hi All,

I'm looking into an industry where a lot of the companies have operations split between for-profit entities and non-profit (501c3) entities. Has anyone ever acquired a company like this and, if so, how do you deal with it?

I did not acquire one. I started a highly successful 501c3 that generated LOTS of income-tax-free profit.
