Congrats, Brian Kruse, on the acquisition of Legacy Roofing Services

Search Fund Accelerator is pleased to announce that ^redacted‌ has acquired Legacy Roofing Services, becoming the first member of SFA’s 2018 cohort to buy a company. Legacy Roofing specializes in commercial reroofing and roofing services. Based in Akron, Legacy operates from two additional locations in Cleveland and Columbus serving clients throughout Ohio. In addition, Legacy does a small but growing amount of business in Florida.

Legacy Roofing primarily focuses on non-bid commercial reroofing work for retail, office, industrial and apartment buildings. Regular roof replacement allows clients to maintain their assets and protect tenants. In addition, the company performs recurring repair and maintenance services to ensure clients maintain the manufacturer’s warranty on their commercial roofs.

Brian joined SFA with six years of management consulting with PwC/Strategy& and EY. He also previously worked for Colliers International in commercial real estate sales. Brian holds an MBA from Chicago Booth School of Business where he was co-chair of the Entrepreneurship through Acquisition Club. He graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

As Legacy’s CEO, Brian will now devote his time to growing and developing the business. He has a very clear vision of where he wants to lead the company. It has been a great pleasure working with Brian during the search and acquisition process. We look forward to continuing our partnership with him over the coming years.
