Contracting woodworking/assembly for furniture making east of Mississippi?

Looking at a small furniture business in New England that currently does finishing and final assembly in house with the owners and a few part time employees. I like the niche and see growth potential via retail marketing but I'm less interested in dealing with the manufacturing side of the business. Wondering if anyone knows if there are companies out there that I could outsource the manufacturing process to, ideally east of the Mississippi where the raw materials are currently being sourced.
