The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a hands-on, personable, and highly motivated COO to help lead daily operations, build strong relationships with our field teams and customers, and scale our business. What You’ll Do:
Lead and optimize daily field operations for our self-storage maintenance crews
Manage scheduling, dispatch, customer communications, and job completion tracking
Build and coach a small but growing team of technicians
Be the face of the company with key customer contacts
Troubleshoot issues in the field—whether it’s a stuck gate or a misfiring camera system
Build scalable systems and processes to support expansion
Partner with CEO on strategic planning and execution
Who You Are:
An approachable, hands-on leader who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves
Excellent with people—field techs, customers, vendors—you build trust quickly
Organized and operationally minded, but flexible enough to thrive in an evolving environment
Familiar with or willing to learn about low-voltage systems, access controls, and security cameras
Experience in field services, construction, property maintenance, or technical operations is a big plus
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in operations, ideally in a small business or startup environment
Comfortable managing teams, customer relationships, and day-to-day execution
Technical aptitude—especially with electrical, mechanical, or low-voltage systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Growth mindset with a desire to take ownership and make an impact
Compensation & Perks:
$100K – $140K base salary, depending on experience
