Hi - I know this topic has been discussed in the past, but I figured it's always good to gather some updates. What are searchers using for a CRM in the online space? and what is everyone using post-acquisition in this space?

I Iike HubSpot, but it can get expensive quickly once you start using features. I looked at all of the ones mentioned here and am currently playing with odoo, as it has the ability to expand into as much a ERP system as you need post-purchase.

Other thoughts;

Pipedrive is capable, but non-obvious.

Salesforce is overkill.and gets extraordinarily expensive rather quickly.

Gohighlevel is great for marketing, but as mentioned, expensive.

Zoho is fine as long as you don't want to connect to anything out of their ecosystem. And they'll nickle and dime you to death for each feature.

I really want to like Dynamix for their integration intonthe MS ecosystem, but it's expensive right off the bat. And, like many MS products, is probably the most capable software if you know how to make nit work, which is generally programmatically.

All of this said, any of them *can* do the job. You'll just need to invest time in learning how to make them do what you want.

I have used Hubspot, Dynamics365 and Pipedrive (just starting).

Hubspot is enough if you just want to have your contacts sorted, take notes, link with email. There is no workflow configuration option for the free account, the starting paid subscription is too much for a search. Easy to use and fast learning curve.

Pipedrive is similar in terms of apps integration and features. Way less expensive if you want to build your own workflows and automations. Perhaps not so powerful for marketing campaigns or massive mailing. The one we are using right now.

Dynamics365, I used it in my former company. Typical Microsoft SW, too rigid, too complex, less intuitive and probably the most expensive one. After almost a year of using Hubspot, moving on to Dynamics was a pain. Never again.
