I’m looking for a driven, part-time student interested in M&A, deal origination, and private equity, with a particular focus on the origination side of transactions. About Bloor Capital Bloor Capital is an intermediary and deal origination advisory firm focused on sourcing technology-driven opportunities in the lower and middle market. Role Overview This is an unpaid position designed for someone who wants real exposure to live transactions and hands-on experience in sourcing and supporting deals. Responsibilities may include (depending on workload and your availability): - Identifying and researching target companies - Reaching out to and communicating with business owners - Communicating with prospective buyers and investors - Assisting with the preparation of marketing materials - Supporting the creation and organization of data rooms - Providing general support across active mandates If you help originate a deal that successfully closes, you will receive a meaningful success-based compensation split. Ideal Candidate - Native-level proficiency in English - Strong interest in M&A, private equity, and lower/middle-market businesses - Highly proactive and a quick learner - Comfortable communicating with founders and investors - Organised and detail-oriented I am happy to provide strong reference letters for high-performing candidates. If you are based in or willing to commute to Toronto, we also host monthly team dinners. This role is best suited for someone entrepreneurial who wants direct transaction exposure rather than a purely academic internship. Interested parties should contact redacted with a short note about their background and interest in the role.
