He was the CEO of Applied Concepts, a sales training company he acquired through a traditional search in 2019 and exited in###-###-#### He also served as CRO and investor at TribalVision, a marketing agency acquired by a close-friend and self-funded searcher in 2020 and exited in###-###-#### Jason currently serves as fractional Chief Revenue Officer at Lerner Solutions, a search-backed IT/tech company. Since 2020, Jason has been an active investor in the ETA community with over 20 current investments. He regularly advises searchers and CEOs—particularly on sales, marketing, and operational strategy—and has spoken at institutions including business schools at Harvard, Vanderbilt, Duke, UNC, and Boston University. Earlier in his career, Jason served as a U.S. Marine focused on geospatial intelligence, with one deployment to Iraq and two to Afghanistan. He later practiced M&A law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York City. He holds a BA from Penn State and a JD from Columbia Law School. He lives in rural TN outside Nashville on 18 acres with his golden retriever, Molly.
