Deciding on an industry to consolidate, any suggestions?

Iv been searching for a couple days now to find an industry that meets my criteria. Iv searched through hundred of IBIS reports running numbers. Ideally looking for 20% + profit margins with ample room for consolidation.

Most industries I have come across that provide adequate margins are either already consolidated to a great extent or have low enterprise numbers not leaving a large enough potential deal pool

for those that have done a consolidation, when you reach out to companies to see if they're interested do you get a lot of questions about who you're combining with? I found that within the HVAC space, business owners would say they would only consolidate if they knew who else they'd be working with because they don't agree with how some people do things. Has that happened to anyone before? How do you handle that conversation?

Lawn care and pool maintenance, while they are not at the 20% margin at this moment, I believe that with consolidation can be taken there
