I'd say leave the function, ^redacted and ^redacted bring up good points as to why someone might legitimately want to pose a question anonymously However, if abused, or someone is using it to hide behind and unprofessionally call out someone else, that can be reported with the existing functionality. If further steps are needed, anonymous posts could be routed through a staff approval before posting (there is a similar function on LinkedIn groups that the moderator can choose to review posts before they go live)..

I value the ability to ask anonymous questions on Searchfunder. The nature of M&A is confidential. The core of each question asked to the community is what matters, not who asked it
