Does anyone have advice/contacts for legal assistance?

Thanks to everyone who responded to my prior post.

I am currently looking for advice on how to proceed with the legal docs related to raising investor capital. I don't need anything overly formal because I am doing a friends/family raise, but of course assume I need your typical investment summary, subscription agreement, and llc operating agreement.

I am self funding, so I'm trying to keep costs low. I spoke to you a couple lawyers who specialize in this and they've all quoted me somewhere btwn $5-10k, which is just too much for me to pay.

Does anyone have any good suggestions or maybe lawyer contacts worth reaching out to?

Thanks again!

Check out Upcounsel (https://www.upcounsel.com/). It's similar to Upwork but for legal. If you know what documents you are looking for you can set the price and requirements and have lawyers bid to do the job.

^redacted‌ - never worked with Ed, but I’ve met him several times. He’s a great guy and seems extremely experienced and competent!
