Does anyone have any experience in Bonding Capacity for General Contractors

We don't operate in that space but have plenty of customers who do. Requirements vary from state to state (and federal) and also depend on the nature of the job, (e.g. residential vs commercial vs public works etc).
In all cases though, unless the GC is well-financed already, the best option is finding somebody else to provide it for you, as ^redacted indicated.
(And if you need capital for construction projects that banks are little leery of I have a number of possible private finance resources for bridge loans, RE etc, from $5MM to $500MM).

We work extensively for the government and some of our contracts require bonds either surety or performance. I recommend him to everyone, but if you are in need of bonding, talk to Gary at Swift Bonds. https://swiftbonds.com/ I ran into so many dead-ends trying to get bonded, and then found Gary and everything became very easy. Can't recommend him highly enough.
