Hi,

I am conducting a study with some colleagues in Boston and Colombia to get insights into the biggest Due Diligence problem for search funds when trying to find potential targets. I haven't been able to find that much information in academic databases; if someone has any info or even personal experiences: that would be highly beneficial.

THANK YOU!

The title of the post and the actual ask are a bit different.
I run DueDilio which is an M&A due diligence marketplace and we've helped over 200 searchers in the LTM solve their due diligence needs. The most common requests we get are for financial diligence and QoE. I think verifying and understanding the financials is the biggest hurdle for a lot of searchers based on what I've seen. We also get a lot of requests for subject matter experts in a particular industry. Hopefully, that's helpful. Ping me if you want more detail or have questions.
