Im looking seriously at a commercial printer which has hit quite a large scale, and has some great web, sheet fed, and digital printing capabilities as well as surround capabilities such as pre-press, binding and mailing room options. They are well recognized in their target markets, and the deal seems great.

Im wondering if there is anyone here in this community who has purchased a commercial printer (with more than $20M Rev) who I could discuss this opportunity with.

- trends
- things to look out for?
- validation that printing industry is resilient, even in this upcoming recession?

Please DM me, or comment below, and I'd love to connect!

Thanks,
Adam

Hi Adam, if any of their capability is rotogravure printing (web/continuous), lamination (solvent based or extrusion), coating, or slitting I'm happy to discuss my experiences. I've worked as a process engineer in two printing/laminating/converting factories for large corporations. I also have some experience implementing a new ERP system that integrated quality controls- lots to share in that regard.

Adam, I spent 7 years running a large print brokerage focused on catalog customers and commercial printers with web presses and perfect binders. Glad to discuss it with you. Send me an email so we can schedule a call.
