Considering a business where the current owner is a licensed master electrician. They are prepared to work out an RME/RMO option, but since they are planning to retire this does not seem like a solid long-term plan. Does anyone have experience successfully hiring a master electrician? I'm having trouble finding master electricians who aren't business owners or work for a large company - trying to understand if this is a viable opportunity for someone without a license. Thank you in advance.

Might also consider poaching electrical engineers who also hold an electrical license who work in corporate or for an engineering firm, but I've only seen this on the mechanical side and they won't come cheap. You might need to offer equity.

No experience here, but consider looking at electrician Facebook groups or subreddits. Best of luck!
