Does anyone have experience house hacking in San Diego?

I’’m looking to purchase my first property, however, like most, finding a way to afford the monthly payment can be difficult. I know that house hacking can be a clever way to get your foot in the door for your first property and I’d like to explore this option.

Does anyone have any connections to investors who have utilized this strategy and/or have experience with seller financing or private lending? Any sources/guidance is helpful.

Also, I know doing this in San Diego could prove to be difficult. Given that, of course I’m open to starting in counties surrounding San Diego.
