Does anyone have experience with either SMBootcamp or AcquisitionLab?

I'm considering both programs, but would love to speak/chat with someone who has actually attended one or the other. I'm just initiating my search. tx!

I went to SMBootCamp 2 years ago. It is a solid live event. Good info and good case studies packed into 3 days. You'll definitely leave knowing how to do a deal and who to call to get it done. But, SMBootCamp is no silver bullet. They're not going to give you deal flow, which is really the hard part. The people they bring in as "case studies" are definitely some of their most successful students. Most of my peers have not closed, and I bet this is the same for Acquisition Lab too. Would recommend SMBootcamp if you want a live event to shorten the learning curve and give you confidence to search. It's a good group and environment. Use my name, so I can get the referral bonus!!

Hi Marc ;) I thought that it might be helpful to offer some consistent feedback from our alumni, including folks that have come to SMBootcamp after being through Acquisition Lab: we have been consistently told that what differentiates SMBootcamp is that the founder (me) is hands on/still in the “game” of SMB acquisitions, meaning that our content is consistently being updated to reflect market realities and the tactics that are working today; the LIVE, in-person delivery is magical to learning and building community; and the results of our alumni.
