Does anyone have experience with email verification software?

We haven't been relegated to spam yet, but want to employ some preventative software. We've heard NeverBounce is good but wanted to know if there are some other good alternatives (preferably free ones). Thanks!

I am using https://snov.io/. Works well for email verification and finding emails for a given domain. Pricing is ok.
