Does anyone know what does a search fund accelerator?

My doubt is about the role of search funds accelerators. Why a young Searcher will have to ask the help of a search found accelerator (obviously paying this service)?
I assume that a search founds accelerators provide several services including: networks of potential investors for the searcher, help in the Industry analysis and in the target selection, entrepreneurial skill and tips.

Does the typical search fund accelerator contribute to the investment being one of the investor of the search found or is just a intermediary between the searcher and the Investors?

I agree that models can be very different. Establishing one in Russia at the moment for CIS market. Our value proposition will be in the access to investments (not only for search but for acquisition as well. accelerator will provide investments), ready legal and accounting infrastructure, access to all brokers, additionally have good expertise in many industries and optimization techniques.

The idea is that an accelerator has a methodology for search. You don't have to start from scratch. Most of the accelerator groups in the search fund space provide funding for the search phase. There are a variety of different approaches for how accelerators work with investors. All provide a way to search without having to raise your own fund.
