I am looking to build my SF's website and Squarespace looks quite easy to use and at a reasonable price, around 250€ per year including website and business emails. Is anyone aware of any better options?

I know this is an old post, but for future searchers with the same question...

1) I'm surprised that so few comments address your intent to bundle in a business email(s). Unless you're familiar with the intricacies of email deliverability, I would strongly suggest using Google Workspace or Microsoft###-###-#### The paid-for-business plans are cheap). Even if an email plan is included with your hosting plan, ditch it and use one of the big 2. You'll need to update your DNS.

2) Unless you plan to use your SF website for the long term, you just need something quick, easy, and professional-looking. If you've got any experience with a website builder, use that and save yourself some learning curve. Just grab a decent-looking template and modify it. Spotlight Effect—"We often feel that others scrutinize our every move. The truth is, no one is paying as much attention to you as you are. Thousands of websites use similar templates, and no one notices."

3) If you plan to grow the website into something long-term (inbound traffic), I'd go with WordPress or Webflow. Or anything else with a decent content management system. Self-hosted/managed is best for long-term stuff where you want complete control.

I really enjoyed https://webflow.com/ all drag and drop, easy to customize and great for a nice looking website. Now if you have some skills or can find something with such skills, you can get your own hosting plateform, have wordpress installed, customized a bit with plugins and you will be good to go. As for Wix, I heard bad feedback for the SEO, but then it was for websites that were looking for pure organic results...
