Does deal flow slowdown around holidays?
Is there typically a slowdown in deal flow around the holidays? I'm planning on launching an email campaign and wondering if I should wait until Jan to get a better hit rate?

Definitely slows down - people will either concentrate on selling their products for Christmas (if they are in retail, especially) or just want to "chill" for the holidays. People become more willing to talk after the holidays / in the new year - sometimes because they have had time to clear their minds and make some decisions about the future (e.g. new direction/fresh start/or even just "cashing in the business chips").

Great question. Closing deals might slow over the holidays but people also have time to take a break from their day job and spend time searching for their next big thing! :).
I've also had investors form partnerships over the holidays because they might have reconnected with family or friends looking for a change (or additional income streams).
