Duck Decoy Business - selling for $6K?

For this episode, Michael Girdley asked his Twitter crowd for the weirdest business listings they'd ever seen. And we got results. Like this one: a duck decoy manufacturing business for sale in Canada for just $5,999 CAD. The last reported numbers were from 2018, with a gross revenue of $500K and earnings of $25K. Is this someone emptying their garage, or a real opportunity? What are you actually buying? Things we learned: - 5% margins are always going to be scary, especially for new buyers - Read closely. This listing said "gross revenue" but not "annual gross revenue"... so you could be looking at a cumulative number. - A bunch of leftover parts and a customer list =/= a business. Make sure you know what you're buying. - Micro-acquisitions are weird. But sometimes there's gold out there.
