Due diligence cost and activities for EPA regulated manufacturing business

I'm close to signing an LOI on a business + real estate deal for a manufacturing company that is heavily regulated by the EPA. Diligence is going to be critical as it is a stock sale and I will inherit all the historical risk. I've put together a list of DD activities and estimated associated cost, but it would be great to hear from those with experience so that I can check my work. TY!

Your legal advisor should be able to provide a comprehensive due diligence list covering legal and related matters. Together with a financial due diligence list that should cover the basics. You then want to ensure the purchase agreement protects you in the event that the diligence provided was inacurate.
