The team comes from a diverse set of companies like Flatiron Health, Snap, Lyft, LinkedIn, Google, Goldman Sachs, and Daily Harvest, but they share a common background as builders and operators, with a drive to help entrepreneurs move fast and build generational companies. Key Responsibilities Alongside the support of our team, you will be responsible for continuing to validate a concept in industrial manufacturing software for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that solves for pain points in requisitions, contracting, and other back-office tasks that can benefit from workflow management and automation. You’ll ultimately bring this company to market after refining the concept. Key responsibilities throughout the incubation will include: • Conduct primary and secondary research on hypothesized innovation (software for industrial manufacturing) • Test desirability, feasibility, and viability of hypothesized solutions • Build the investment case for the hypothesized solution • Develop and execute on a business model, go-to-market strategy, and product roadmap for the hypothesized solution • Work with a corporate partner to design and execute pilots that test the MVP • Build and manage the company P&L to ensure financial targets are met • Hire A+ teammates • Lead fundraising efforts • Take the company from idea to unicorn! Candidate Profile Successful candidates will be exceptional business leaders with a strong operational and client orientation. They will have served as a senior leader and possess the gravitas required to engage with clients and lead a company as Founder and CEO. IDEAL EXPERIENCE • 7+ years of proven experience leading, project managing and building teams in a relevant business industry • An operator and executer who is highly motivated to wear many hats and scale a business from the ground up, from 0 to 1 • A strategist with a strong entrepreneurial spirit – you may have been a startup founder in the past, held a leadership role at a fast-growing, venture-backed startup, or been an early employee • Deep experience in manufacturing with a clear understanding of industry dynamics. This could be demonstrated by having built OEM products, led teams in mechanical engineering roles or related manufacturing production, or delivered products to market. • Product management and/or software-oriented experience a plus • Preference for an individual with an engineering or original equipment manufacturing background • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience with the tech stack at industrial businesses also a bonus LEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES Entrepreneurial Builder • Comfortable with breaking through walls, failing and finding solutions People Leader & Mentor • Thrives in building and growing people No Ego / High EQ • You are equally as humble and down to earth on “High St” as “Main St”
