Decided to become a self-funded searcher recently and doing general research, any good book, podcast or other info source would be highly appreciated

Books I recommend (no order): - "The E-Myth Revisited" - "The Messy Marketplace" Those over the popular HBR Guide to Buying a Small Business and Buy then Build. Though I believe it depends entirely on what lens you're approaching them from, what you think of when you say search, and where your expertise lies. Podcasts - - Masters in Small Business M&A (by Axial): guides around LMM PE moreso than search - Acquiring Minds: traditional search/eta focus but some self-funded/SBA - Nikonomics - more trial/error/entrepreneurial/self-funded focus and episodes rotate between buying/building and industry opportunities. - MoneyWise (Hampton): bit of a survivorship bias but those that have made/earned 7+ figure sums, either by owning / buying, varies between operator/exited founders.
