I recently spoke at the ETA conference at the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at Univ of UT. It was a great, sold-out event. I would highly recommend attending any conference like this with like-minded individuals. We had previous searchers, like me, non panel discussions. Karen Spencer (co-founder of Searchfunder) was also on panels, along with a large PE fund looking for deals. I'd highly recommend.

Thanks for the tag. I've actually only attended the HBS ones. I'm curious to hear from the community what you think the most valuable part of these conferences are: meeting ivnestors? hearing best practices? networking with other CEOs or searchers? Has anyone ever found a business at one of these?
