Searchfunders, I am a current MBA student at a top school and while I am exploring launching a traditional search fund, I am also looking into the accelerators as well.

It seems like SFA, Broadtree, Halstatt, GTE have all been successful, however I recently came across Spur Acquisitions.. Does anyone have experience working with Spur? Are they really legit because I haven’t known or seen any searchers associated with them..I’d love to hear your opinions on the pros/cons of each accelerators..

When evaluating accelerators it is very similar to choosing your search path: self-funded, traditional, partnered, accelerator, etc. All of them have their pro's and con's and once you select one please bear in mind you will be working with that group for potentially many years. Therefore, you must pick the one that best aligns with you and your goals. Feel free to message me to have an offline discussion about it.

As a long time venture capitalist and entrepreneurial acquisition investor, I recently invested in Broadtree as I have seen several solid funded acquisitions emerge from their process and program. I recommend you contact them.
