We are evaluating an acquisition and looking for a bit more color on a few items. We would appreciate any insight on the following: Forward indicators of growth in non-residential MEP, general bidding process, and a union's reaction to ownership transition, how does it work scaling a workforce with union labor. Thanks!!

Do you have access to the labor contract before LOI? Understanding the probation process, if they have minimum hours, how overtime works and how layoffs work will vary a lot by contract. You will also want to know how much OT they currently run and where the financial breakeven is between hiring new employees or running OT. I don't have experience with unions as an owner but have been a plant manager and been through contract negotiations, feel free to reach out.

Hi Jada, some years ago, my firm acquired a union affiliated electrical contracting firm based in NYC. Happy to discuss my experience if that will help. Feel free to reach out - redacted
