Experience Purchasing Accounting Firm?

I have 2 potential accounting firms that I'm looking at purchasing. They're both in my general area. I am looking for an accountant, EA, CPA, or someone that has SUCCESSFULLY acquired an accounting firm, retained more than 70% of clients, and generally done well with acquiring the firm.

^redacted‌ thanks for the tag. I've successfully founded a cloud bookkeeping and CFO firm, grew it to 40 employees, and sold it to a CPA firm. Now I've started my second firm and am actively growing it. But I've yet to acquire an accounting firm yet, so I'm not sure how helpful I can be here? IMO, some of the valuations I'm seeing even on these small accounting firms seem crazy to me!
