Experience With Search Fund Accelerators?

I'm exploring then entrepreneurship through acquisition and I would love to hear people's experience with traditional search funds vs search fund accelerators. Why did you pick the search vehicle you went with and has it worked? What are some of the accelerators out there?

That said if you’re up for a little reading, Jim Sharpe (https://jimsteinsharpe.com/contemplating/funding-the-search/) and the Stanford Search Primer (https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/faculty-research/centers-initiatives/ces/research/search-funds/primer) have some pretty good info.

I’ve been looking for, but haven’t found yet, a decent side-by-side comparison of pros/cons (standard deal terms, success rates, freedom of decision-making, etc) of the accelerator vs traditional vs SBA models. If you come across something like that, let me know!
