@redacted‌, we normally use the tech stack the company already has, which tends to reduce operational complexity. In this case, all the incoming projects were already organized in a Google Sheet (with the address), and another one with the Job crew address. We optimized for the least traveled distance in a day and added a few constraints that helped the organization (e.g., skills needed for a specific job and included these skills for each crew member, so that we would NOT have a crew staff assigned to a job without having the proper skill). P.S. I know Jobber has APIs that let you pull the data you want into your database and process it the way you want.
