Exploring an Acquisition in the Printing Services Industry

I’m currently evaluating a business in the printing & mail marketing services industry and would love to connect with others who have experience in this space. The business offers digital and offset printing, large format printing (posters, banners, signs), black & white and color copying, pre-press and graphic design, finishing and binding services, mailing and shipping services, and creative design solutions.
If you’ve operated, invested in, or acquired a printing, signage, or mail marketing services business, I’d appreciate any insights on:
- Key industry trends and risks to be aware of
- Challenges in operations, margins, or customer retention
- Potential pitfalls in due diligence, especially around contracts, equipment, or franchise obligations
