Feedback on new leadgen software pricing - how do folks manage credits?

Hi SF Fam,
We just soft-launched a new leadgen tool — https://www.saasquatchleads.com/ — and are prepping for a full release next week. One thing our team keeps debating is pricing, especially whether to stick with a flat plan (e.g. $20/month) or follow the more common credit-based model.
As a former searcher, I always found the credit model kind of annoying, but I’m curious how others here feel.
Would love feedback from anyone who’s used tools like Apollo, Seamless, Uplead, Clay, etc:
- Do you find it frustrating when tools burn a credit just for one data point (email or phone)?
- What % of your credits do you actually use before they expire?
- Do you track credit usage, or just let it ride?
- Would you rather just get all the info (email, phone, company, etc) without micro-charges?
- What’s your current go-to leadgen scraper — and what do you like or wish it did better?
Also curious:
- What’s your biggest pain point with leadgen tools right now?
- How do you decide what to use?
- What’s a reasonable monthly budget for something that actually works?
If you're curious and want to test SaaSquatch or do a quick demo, I'd be happy to share.
Appreciate any thoughts!
