Finance Student Actively Seeking ETA/Small Business Internship

Hi Searchfunder community! I’m Eric McCurdy, a Finance student at Penn State with a small business background and a deep interest in SBA and operations. Over the past few years, in addition to my college coursework, I’ve built and run a residential property services business which gave me firsthand experience with business development, team management, and the challenges of owner-operator businesses.

That experience led me to transition to the ETA path full-time. I’m looking for an internship that would allow me to support and learn from operators, investors, or searchers with real-world deal and operational exposure.

I’m particularly interested in:

• Deal evaluation and structuring

• Financial diligence

• Post-acquisition operations, management, and growth strategy

• CEO-level decision-making in small businesses, CEO assistant tasks
