Financing for Seasonal HVAC SMB

Hey! I am looking at an HVAC business in the tri-state area that does 80% of it's revenue during the warm months. With an SBA loan, that presents an issue as my debt service is monthly, but obviously my cash flow is lumpy. I am thinking about structuring a deal with a 50-65% seller note, interest only for 1 year and the rest as equity. TEV is around $900-$1m.

1. Has anyone had any experience with this type of seasonality? How did you finance your deal?
2. Anyone interested in financing this type of business via equity?

Thanks!

I would love to have a conversation. You can finance seasonal businesses with SBA loans and have the payment structure setup where you are making your payments during your season. We have done this with other acquisitions in the past. You can reach me here or directly at redacted We also offer free review of deals from a lender perspective to help you assess what you can buy and will qualify for.

^redacted‌, we’ve financed acquisitions of seasonal businesses, managing $4M in winter cash and $1M in summer revolver needs. Let me know how I can assist: redacted
