Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all safe.
Was anyone able to conclude a deal through finder's fee (river guides)?

Riverguide can mean somewhat different things to different people. In our search, we found modest success with two distinct situations. 1. smaller, industry specific business brokers. We found a few folks who knew an industry inside and out and made introductions to businesses they thought were a fit. 2. Someone who you knew from prior to search who has experience investing or operating in an interesting industry. These folks helped with more warm intros to information centers or other folks who were ingrained in an industry.

I'm actually testing this idea right now by building a peer-to-peer deal exchange to see if it adds value.
