Alterna is looking for $2MM in funds to launch next month. The company has already invested $8 MM to develop a proprietary platform that enrolls individuals with a Tax_ID, no SSN required. It offers Card to Card remittances on the US-Mex corridor ($50 B annually) and US-Guatemala corridor ($15 B annually). Both the banking operations in the US and Mexico are ready to start acquiring customers, Guatemala will be next.
