Does anyone have any info on current multiples in the fire protection space? Not a huge PE platform, but something in the $1-2M EBITDA range.

Hey, I've done some research in this space, and here’s what we’ve found so far: the fire protection industry has been seeing significant consolidation lately. From what I've gathered, consolidators are typically valuing companies based on revenue, with multiples ranging from 1.5x to 2x for businesses of the right size and profitability. For companies in the $1-2M EBITDA range, these multiples seem pretty standard, though it can vary depending on the specifics of the business, of course.

^redacted‌ I have one for sale right now... if they have recurring rev it's 5x low end and 10x high end... if they don't have recurring rev it's around 3-4x low end high end 7x (depending on how much biz is in the pipeline for future years)
