Fire Protection / Suppression Business need experienced equity partner

Hello I am a top contender to be awarded an LOI for a Fire Protection / Suppression Business.
A lot of PE / roll up interest with multiple IOI/LOI's submitted I made it to the top 5 LOI considerations. The sellers like me because I live locally by the business, I have construction & business experience, I am willing to meet them weekly in person/office, and they like my hustle.
They do not like that I cannot pay as much as PE (if I were to self fund) and my lack of industry specific experience.
Past 3 years:
~$8-15m Revenue
~$1-3m EBITDA .
The business mainly does commercial new construction ~96% of revenue.
They just started a service division and its growing they did ~$600k from that last year.
The 2 owners are willing to stay on 3-5 years post close with a salary and a small equity carry/seller note.
I am looking to partner up as the Independent Sponsor on this deal.
I need an experienced equity partner in the industry and who can provide the vast majority of the equity.
