Hi all,

Currently in the process of finalizing my first deal. My team and I are almost at the finish line. Curious, for people that have done an acquisition, what are some things to look for when the acquisition is about to be complete?

Checking the financials, confirming customer data (like churn), and verifying any legal issues will cover most of the problems you might find during due diligence. On a side note, if you’re looking for SBA funding soon, I’ve built an automated loan broker that will save you hours of work and save you hundreds of thousands of dollars because you can optimize by talking to banks with the lowest interest rate for your deal. Most importantly, if possible, get the seller to train you hands-on for a couple of months. It is the best way to learn the tricks of the trade and uncover things the seller might have forgotten to share.
