Seriously... We're supposed to be pursuing million dollar plus acquisitions & raising capital. Sure you can scrape together minimum wage for your interns. That goes double for anyone pitching "unpaid internships" at an actual operating company... Just an opinion...

I agree that exploitative unpaid internships at real operating companies especially ones with cash flow are unacceptable.
That said not all unpaid structures are the same. Our team runs a selective equity-based fellowship with over 50 modules, live deal participation and access to real backend infrastructure. Fellows are not interns. They are future operators being trained and upskilled for real buy-side execution with a shot at meaningful ownership.
There is a big difference between free labor and aligned apprenticeship. Let’s not throw out high-upside learning models just because some people are abusing the format.
