Franchise leads

What are franchise searchers doing for lead sourcing these days? Seems like plenty of tools that support general small biz search but nothing specific for franchises.

Some sites like FranData or Franchimp are out there but the former looks very expensive (for PE shops) and the later looks a bit out of date.

And I know there is plenty of ownership data in FDDs, but hard to perform a targeted search like that (ie looking for a minimum 5 unit group in a specific category)

Any other tools out there?

Franchise consultants - business brokers in the franchise space. It seems a bunch of these companies work in sort of informal networks, so tapping into 1 consultant can lead to a large net cast. If you do some research and talk to a bunch of different ones, you might be able to confirm this assumption and get some color on how the networks break out and spread your contacts among them.

They typically have the best/most leads within franchises. If you were targeting a specific franchise, then talk to directly to them for their availability.

While someone may have built a franchise-specific tool using data scraping tools, we have close to 70 franchises listed across North America. BizBuySell has many more, including most of our listings. Revenue and Earnings can be a proxy for multiple locations or larger operations. Our link is here: https://murphybusiness.com/business-brokerage/view-our-listings/
