Free Content Friday - list of all IBBA brokers in CA

This is for anyone just getting started! I recently scraped the IBBA website to get a list of all IBBA-registered brokers/brokerages in CA. I figured this might be useful for searchers just getting started with brokered deals. Notes: 1. In addition to the data from IBBA, I added two columns - one to with the formatted company name (see column "Company_Formatted") as well as a "Region" column. These should make it a bit more usable but feel free to disregard. 2. There is some "noise" in the data (i.e., some rows are realtors / valuation experts / lawyers) just because those people registered doesn't make them a business broker. How to use this list: 1. Where possible, sign up for newsletters. Some brokers/brokerages send emails before they post things on BBS/BizBen/etc... 2. Reach out to brokers you are interested in / in your region. Building that relationship in advance means when they have a new deal they (might) think of you first.
