Hi all – I wanted to share a free resource for anyone under LOI or approaching diligence. I'm a former self-funded searcher and now the owner of IT Total Care, an IT managed service provider in the Bay Area. Like many of you, I went through the process of evaluating a business under LOI and trying to understand hidden risks before closing. Now that I'm on the other side, I’ve seen just how much technology debt and cybersecurity exposure can quietly accumulate in small businesses. To help with this we’re offering free IT due diligence assessments to any searchers under LOI, with preference for those acquiring a company that’s either virtual or based in the SF Bay Area. Here’s how it works: -You answer a short set of diligence questions we send over -We build a custom report that outlines: 1) Any technology debt we see. 2) The cybersecurity posture of the company today. 3) Estimates for what it would cost post-close to fix issues and get to a clean, secure baseline. You can think of this assessment as similar to what August Felker and the team at Oberle have done so well for insurance. Our goal is similar: -Help you go into the deal with clearer eyes -Give you a better shot at avoiding a steep J curve post-close -Be a value-add partner If you're interested please email me at redacted Happy to help however we can.

I just did this assessment with Brendan and IT Total Care and can vouch for it 100%. Process was fast/easy and the output gave me helpful and actionable recommendations for my target's IT needs. Also taught me a lot about tech debt and cybersecurity needs, which are valuable learnings during LOI and post-close. Highly recommend!

This seems like a great resource. We at Searcher Insights compiles third-party tools and resources to help traditional searchers for free. What do you think of adding this in our repository: https://searcherinsights.com/resources/due-diligence/
